Courtney McCall, MA, LPC, NCC, EAP/EAL

Courtney received her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University in 2016, and certified in Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy/Equine-Assisted Learning in 2017, and was fully licensed as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) in 2019. Her main focus has been in providing clinical services to children, adults, and families suffering from trauma, grief/loss, attachment, and self-esteem issues from a Jungian (working with deeper, unconscious meaning), Gestalt (being in the “here and now”), and Person-Centered (compassion and empathy) Perspectives. She enjoys riding her two rescue horses, singing, hiking, kayaking, making art, and playing with her dogs and cat.

Solas is an 18-year old Quarterhorse mare who came to live with Courtney in 2016 after having been rescued from the feed lot. She is a big horse with a spirit for adventure! She loves people and enjoys going for long walks on the trail and kicking up her heels in the arena. Solas is a huge fan of hugs and scratches! She is thrilled to be working with her human friends on their journey toward healing!

Samwise is an 8-year old gelding that was rescued from the kill lot. He is 1400 pounds of pure love and silliness! He loves to follow his human partners wherever they go, and is always curious about what is going on around him. He is the newest addition to Solas Counseling, and his gentle spirit has done much to help heal others.
